Bullhorn ®, the global leader in online staffing and recruiting agency software, today announced its recognition by Boston Business Journal as one of the fastest growing private companies in Boston for the sixth consecutive year.  The annual Pacesetters list honors the top 50 fastest-growing companies in the area based on revenue growth.

To be considered for the list, companies had to report annual revenue growth of at least 20 percent over a four-year period. Bullhorn grew about 200% in the past four years and is continuing to see impressive growth in 2011.

Named One of Three Honorees in the Small Private Company Category in First Ever Boston Business Journal CFO of the Year Award

Bullhorn, the global leader in On Demand, front office staffing and recruiting software, today announced that co-founder and CFO Roger Colvin is one of three honorees for CFO of the Year by the BBJ.  According to the BBJ, the award ceremony will recognize CFOs in the categories of Life Achievement, Small Private Company, Midsized Private Company, Large Private Company, Public Company, and Nonprofit.  Colvin will be honored as part of the Small Private Company category.

Colvin co-founded Bullhorn with CEO Art Papas and President Barry Hinckley, in 1999.  Starting as a job board for creative services professionals, Bullhorn transformed into an On Demand front office system for staffing and recruiting firms in 2001.  Colvin led Bullhorn’s finance strategy, which included an acquisition and securing more than $26 million from investors.  Under his financial leadership, the company has also achieved more than 30 quarters of market leading growth by investing in sales, marketing and development.

Worswick joins Bullhorn with more than 13 years experience of team-building and leadership in high-growth, Internet and SaaS environments.  He possesses a deep understanding of how to expand existing and new markets and achieve leverage through direct and channel sales initiatives.  Prior to Bullhorn, Worswick was senior vice president, sales, at IntraLinks, Inc., a Software-as-a-Service provider of information exchange solutions.  He ran the sales team in the United States and Canada which accounted for 70% of the company’s revenues.  During his tenure the company’s revenues increased from $8 million to $150 million with an average compounded annual growth rate of 40%.  Worswick also was a director of business development at Walker Digital, the company that founded Priceline.com.  He began his career as a consultant and financial analyst at KPMG.  Worswick is a graduate of Cornell University.
