iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition software solutions for growing businesses, announced today that it has acquired its former partner, social recruiting solution provider, Jobmagic. Prior to the acquisition, Jobmagic’s advanced social media tools had powered iCIMS’ Social Distribution solution, enabling iCIMS Talent Platform customers to quickly and easily promote job openings on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and over 300 other social media sites.

“iCIMS is committed to dominating the talent acquisition market by delivering 2.0 solutions that are keeping pace with the revolutionary new social, mobile, and data analytic technologies,” said Colin Day, Chief Executive Officer, iCIMS. “The Jobmagic acquisition was an ideal fit for our strategic plans; it enables us to deliver a truly best-of-breed experience by uniting the cutting-edge social media development trends with core, proven talent acquisition functionality on the back end for recruiters and hiring managers,” Day concluded.

iCIMS’ award-winning platform was originally conceived in 1999 and has retained a leadership position in the space through continuously strengthening its core product offering while partnering with companies that deliver recruitment advertising solutions such as search engine optimization (SEO) and job board distribution as well as complementary HR technology across functions like background screening and I-9 verifications.  The Jobmagic acquisition will strengthen iCIMS’ social media expertise, allowing the company to accelerate development plans for enhanced functionality across its product suite of ConnectRecruit, and Onboardsolutions. For iCIMS customers who are already using the company’s Social Distribution product, the merger will promote tighter integration with the graphical user interface (GUI), enhanced reporting features, and new referral tracking capabilities.

The Jobmagic acquisition will also enable iCIMS to market, sell, and support Social Distribution as a standalone product to companies that seek an independent solution for social recruiting without applicant tracking functionality and are looking to dramatically improve candidate reach through automating job distribution and employee referral programs across social networks. “Social media has really paved the way for companies of all sizes to recruit talent more quickly, often at a lower cost per hire,” said Jindrich Liska, Sr. Director, Social Recruit, iCIMS and founder of Jobmagic. “By joining forces, our combined customers get the competitive advantage of a social-infused product roadmap along with a strong foundational technology, while Jobmagic’s existing customer base will benefit from our strengthened corporate infrastructure and extended support organization,” concluded Liska.

iCIMS plans to retain Jobmagic’s corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA, where the existing Jobmagic team will continue to operate. “We’re so excited to have Jobmagic’s extremely talented development, sales, integration, and support team members officially join the iCIMS family,” stated Adam Feigenbaum, Chief Operating Officer, iCIMS. “As we worked closely together during the partner stage of our relationship, we knew the Jobmagic staff shared our unwavering commitment to providing an outstanding customer service experience,” Feigenbaum concluded.

Following a $35 million minority investment by Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) in January 2012, iCIMS has been executing against an aggressive strategic growth plan that includes increased investments in marketing, product  development, and acquisitions. The Jobmagic acquisition is the company’s first this year.  As part of its expansion plans, iCIMS is on track to increase full-time staff by almost 30% in 2012 versus 2011. These staff members will be located throughout the United States and abroad and are focused in technology, marketing, and sales.

“Simply stated, there are three ways to stay current with the social and mobile technology trends in the HCM landscape:  build, buy, or partner. iCIMS has acquired a trusted partner. We look forward to the advances possible within a unified roadmap — we’re joining forces to deliver game-changing hiring solutions that are simple, social, scalable, and well-supported,” concluded Day.

Leading SaaS provider experiences continued growth in revenue, customers, and employee headcount

iCIMS, a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)talent acquisition software solutions for growing businesses, released the company’s 2012 half-year results, reporting a strong increase in revenue and client acquisitions, enabling surging growth within the company. During this time period, the organization also earned a number of third-party awards for its best-of-breed flagship product, the iCIMS Talent Platform.

Year to date, the company generated an impressive 22% increase in revenue by comparison to the first six months of 2011. A driving force behind the positive revenue recognition has been a significant number of new client acquisitions. In the past six months, over 200 organizations have signed on to use iCIMS’ talent acquisition software. By the end of quarter two, iCIMS had already surpassed the number of clients signed during 1H 2011 by more than 45%. Client growth was most pronounced in the energy and retail business sectors, with customers such as rue21, Inc., PowerStream, and TAS Energy, Inc. implementing iCIMS’ recruitment technology. As compared to 1H 2011, new sales in energy increased by 50% and new retail clients were up by 33%. The enterprise business segment also flourished, tripling the number of acquired customers versus 1H 2011; Hooters of America, LLC and PAE Group being just two of the many larger organizations among the new business wins.

“Over the past 13 years, iCIMS has evolved from a small start-up to a commanding force in the talent acquisition solution space, validated by increased revenues and client acquisitions,” said Colin Day, Chief Executive Officer, iCIMS. “The results from the first half of the year further illustrate the company’s determination to continue to be a top choice of organizations for their sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding needs. No matter the size of the company or industry in which they operate, iCIMS is delivering exactly what clients are looking for:  simple-to-use, social- and mobile-enabled solutions backed by outstanding customer support,” Day concluded.

The robust increase in both revenue and client base has helped fuel growth in iCIMS’ employee headcount as well. As of the end of June, the company had increased new staff by 140% versus 1H 2011 hires. In order to accommodate for the expansion of staff and to support future strategic growth plans, earlier this year iCIMS relocated the company’s corporate headquartersfrom Hazlet, NJ to a nearby class “A” building in Matawan, NJ. The new office space provides enough room for iCIMS’ 200+ employees with additional space to support anticipated increases in full-time staff in the coming years.

iCIMS’ rapidly growing footprint in the talent acquisition solution provider space and corporate commitment to providing technologies that are keeping pace with the social and mobile landscape have earned the company numerous award recognitions in 1H 2012. In May, iCIMS was recognized by Network Products Guide’s 2012 Hot Companies and Best Products Awardsas Best IT Product and Service for Retail for the second consecutive year. Highlighting iCIMS’ unwavering dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience, the company also was named a Stevie Awards Bronze Winner for Customer Service Department of the Year in the Computer Software category this past March.

In addition to growth in revenue, clients, and employee headcount, iCIMS also received a boost of momentum at the beginning of 2012 that has supported the company’s continued success. In January, iCIMS secured a $35 million minority growth equity investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), LLC. Before this investment capital, the company had been self-funded since it was founded in 1999. Year to date, iCIMS has focused on increasing investments in marketing, product development, and acquisitions.

During this period of rapid growth at iCIMS, specific importance was placed on ramping up the speed of development for innovative social and mobile pre-hire solutions. Within the February11.3 Talent Platform release, Social Resume and Social Apply functionality debuted. Social Apply enables candidates to quickly and easily upload their LinkedIn or Facebook profile data during the online submission process, while Social Resume allows recruiters to gain access to dynamic online resumes within one system. By pairing extended social recruiting capabilities with mobile accessibility, iCIMS is helping HR operations become more streamlined, pervasive, and easier for both recruiters and applicants. The upcoming 12.1 release, which will launch later this month, will further enhance the mobile accessibility and social functionality of the iCIMS Talent Platform.

“From exciting new product development to record new sales, iCIMS has momentum on its side,” said Day. “While we hold fast to our core values of customer orientation, scalability, and ease-of use, we are ramping up our delivery of game-changing 2.0 social and mobile technologies that will help our customers stay ahead of their competition,” Day concluded.

iCIMS, a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition software solutions for growing businesses, announced today that the company will continue its commitment to supporting green initiatives by participating in a park clean-up at the nearby Cheesequake State Park. The clean-up will take place on May 18th, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST).

iCIMS’ volunteers will help complete various projects throughout the park alongside state park rangers and other park employees. In previous years, iCIMS’ volunteers have assisted in projects such as building and painting houses for migratory birds, clearing trails, planting trees and other plant specimens, and creating a natural barrier to stop potential landslides caused by erosion.

The Cheesequake State Park clean-up is one of many environmental improvement actions iCIMS has participated in since the company launched its iGIVE Back program in 2006. Colin Day, iCIMS’ CEO, established the iGIVE Back program to promote the protection of local green spaces and support select environmental causes through a corporate charitable giving plan. Within the program, employees can volunteer up to two paid days annually to participate in company-wide beach and park sweeps. In addition, they can elect to give direct deposit donations, which the company matches, to several environmental action groups such as Earth Share of New Jersey.

“As the company grows, so does the number of volunteers and participants we have in iCIMS’ iGIVE Back program,” said Ron Kasner, Chief Corporate Development Officer, iCIMS. “We are proud to announce that this year the company has a record number of employees volunteering their time to this clean-up. It is great to see the iGIVE Back program flourish and witness the positive changes the iCIMS team has had on the local community,” concluded Kasner.

“When we launched iGIVE Back, environmental causes were a logical place to focus the company’s charitable giving efforts,” said Colin Day, CEO, iCIMS, Inc. “Our product, the iCIMS Talent Platform, enables companies to go paperless and avoid printing out resumes and other necessary onboarding paperwork. So, we see our environmental efforts extending beyond our new home in Matawan, and making a global difference,” concluded Day.

Due to the success of the iGIVE Back program, iCIMS has been recognized by several award programs and environmental organizations for the company’s ongoing commitment to helping protect and beautify green spaces. iCIMS has been a recipient of NJBIZ’s Green Leadership Award, Earth Share of New Jersey’s Environmental Leadership Awards, and has also been recognized as a finalist in the American Business Awards for Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility.

iCIMS, the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent management solutions for the SMB market, announced today that the company has secured a $35 million minority growth equity investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity, LLC (SGE). Prior to securing the investment capital, iCIMS had been self-funded, highly profitable, and grown solely organically at 43% CAGR since 2003. The company plans to significantly increase investments in marketing, product development, and additional acquisitions that will further accelerate the organization’s rapid growth and expansion plans.

iCIMS focuses on delivering intuitive and scalable solutions designed to help companies of all sizes streamline Human Resources processes. iCIMS’ flagship product, the Talent Platform, is a seamless talent management solution that adheres to the company’s “back to the basics” philosophy, providing a simple-to-use yet extremely robust talent acquisition system that automates social recruiting, applicant tracking, and onboarding processes. Recently, iCIMS was recognized as a “champion” in the Info-Tech Research Group’s Vendor Landscape Report for Talent Acquisition Systems and tied for the highest overall rating within both the product and vendor evaluations.

iCIMS experienced explosive growth in 2011, reaching its 1000-client milestone by adding an average of one new customer for every business day. The company’s growth and sustained success has garnered recognition from several leading publications, trade organizations, and analyst firms. For the sixth consecutive year, iCIMS was ranked on the Inc. 500/5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies. In addition, iCIMS ranked on the Deloitte Technology list of the fastest growing technology companies in North America for the sixth consecutive year.

“We have been watching iCIMS and the talent management software space for quite some time and believe this well-managed, nimble, and extremely profitable SaaS company will continue to devour market share in the vast SMB space,” said Scott Feldman, Director, SGE. “iCIMS has all of the makings of a SaaS giant on the march:  strong leadership, clear strategic vision, innovative products, outstanding customer service, and employees who are invested in the company direction. We are very excited about the role our investment will play in the elevation of iCIMS’ success,” Feldman concluded.

“We are invigorated by the success the iCIMS team has demonstrated over the last 11 years and our path to this point has clearly earned the confidence of SGE,” said Colin Day, CEO, iCIMS. “We could have sustained our current rate of growth without an outside investment — but the timing was ideal to take iCIMS to the next level. This minority growth equity investment from SGE will help us dramatically accelerate our aggressive expansion plans. We look forward to offering deeper and broader services and support to our clients, and further penetrating the SMB marketplace with our high-value solutions and services,” Day concluded.

As part of its expansion strategy, iCIMS plans to increase full time staff by almost 25% within the next year. These employees will be spread throughout the United States and abroad and will be concentrated in marketing, sales, and technology.

Scott Feldman, Amir Goldman, and Jonathan Klahr will join the iCIMS Board of Directors. All three SGE representatives currently serve on the boards of multiple software companies including the JK Group, PaySimple, Netformx, MMIT, and Skybox. iCIMS was represented in the transaction by Raymond James & Associates (NYSE-RJF).

HRchitect featured iCIMS in our May 2008 release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider. iCIMS participated in the Talent Acquisition Systems panel on June 10, 2009 as part of theHRshow. iCIMS competed in the HRchitect Beauty Pageant on Talent Acquisition Systems in November 2008 and mid-market Talent Acquisition Systems in January 2009, where they were crowned the winner of each. iCIMS will be competing in the upcoming HRchitect Beauty Pageant on Talent Acquisition Systems on August 21, 2009.  Adam Feigenbaum and Susan Vitale from iCIMS appeared on the HRchitect WebMingle on December 12, 2008.

If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. We have unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation.

iCIMS, the second-largest provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition solutions, today released the company’s record-breaking 2009 year-end summary and 2010 forecasts. Increased sales, international expansion, platform upgrades and most importantly, a recently unveiled employee data management software suite have already laid the foundation for iCIMS’ continued success throughout 2010.  Finishing off the year with this kind of momentum marks a decade of success for iCIMS, whose 963% organic growth over the past five years was recently recognized by Deloitte Technology Fast 500.

In 2009 alone, more than 225 leading organizations around the world signed onto iCIMS’ Talent Platform, bringing the company’s total customer base to over 800. Notable client additions include H&R Block (NYSE: HRB), GNC, Sysco Corporation (NYSE: SYY), Trump Entertainment Resorts, Tribune Company and many more. With more than 70% of client additions coming from the mid-market, this past year further strengthened iCIMS’ position as the leading talent acquisition solution provider for mid-market companies.  Industry leading mid-market additions include Treasure Island Las Vegas, NATCO (NYSE: NTG), Alexian Brothers Health System, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, The Visiting Nurse Association, and more. iCIMS’ ongoing pursuit of 100% customer satisfaction through its four-tiered support team directly contributed to the company’s mid-market dominance. The dedicated support teams coupled with user forums, weekly virtual training, and an interactive Knowledge Center continue to serve as one of iCIMS’ core differentiators.

iCIMS’ continued success in the mid-market is also greatly attributed to the Talent Platform’s single-source code architecture and inherent flexibility. This high degree of flexibility is greatly valued by mid-market organizations that are looking to invest in a Talent Platform that is capable of expanding to meet their evolving corporate vision. In addition to offering customers such superior candidate management offerings as applicant tracking, CRM, workforce planning and onboarding, the Talent Platform provides mid-market organizations with such robust employee management tools as performance management, talent & competency profiles, employee referral programs and more.

Aside from the record breaking sales momentum powering the SaaS provider into 2010, iCIMS’ recently unveiled suite of employee data management software is taking the marketplace by storm. To more fully support the evolving HR needs of its growing mid-market client base, iCIMS now offers customers a complete suite of employee data management tools built right into the award winning talent platform. Beyond the management of demographic information and position history, iCIMS’ employee data management software enables human resource professionals to automate a myriad of once cumbersome, paper-intensive tasks.  These enhanced features coupled with iCIMS’ already advanced talent management offerings, enable the Talent Platform to support the end-to-end talent lifecycle of mid-market organizations around the world.

2009 also marked a year of international growth as iCIMS emerged as the solution of choice for mid-market organizations across the globe, including such notable organizations as Optical Express, BroadReach Healthcare, Cision and Ma’aden. In response to the mounting number of international organizations implementing the Talent Platform, iCIMS expanded its Beijing, China location and opened up the doors to its London, UK office. Looking ahead to 2010, forecasts predict that iCIMS will continue to remain a strong international player as more and more mid-market organizations recognize the value of end-to-end talent management.

“As an organization, iCIMS takes great pride in the many accomplishments we have achieved this past year,” said Colin Day, iCIMS’ President and CEO. ”During a time of increased industry consolidation, iCIMS’ record breaking organic growth throughout 2009 is a testament to the long-term value the Talent Platform offers organizations across the globe. With this current mid-market momentum and newly released employee data management suite, 2010 promises to be an extraordinary year for iCIMS.”

If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. We have unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation.

iCIMS, the third largest provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition solutions, announced today that the company has been named to the Inc. 500 | 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in North America. Of the 5000 honorees, iCIMS was ranked 966th and saw a 316% growth rate over the past three years.

The Inc. 500 | 5000 has been a prestigious and well-respected benchmark for the nation’s most innovative and successful organizations. Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year. iCIMS continued its impressive growth, jumping from #1150 on the list to #966 this year and also improved its placement on the list of fastest-growing software companies, going from #83 to this year’s spot of #60.

“Savvy trend spotters and those who invest in private companies know that the Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about young companies that are achieving success through a wide variety of unprecedented business models, as well as older private companies that are still expanding at an impressive rate,” said Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan. “That’s why our list is so eagerly anticipated every year.”

This marks the fourth consecutive year that iCIMS has been included in Inc.’s list of fastest-growing companies in North America. Incorporated in 1999, iCIMS has continued to see quarter over quarter financial success. This continued growth has been attributed to the flexibility of iCIMS’ technology, as well as its ability to expand along with clients’ evolving business needs. Since its inception, iCIMS quickly became an industry leader in applicant tracking systems and today is the third largest provider of talent acquisition solutions. Over the years, iCIMS has continued to grow and evolve within its space and today powers such initiatives as onboarding, CRM, employee data management and more for many of the company’s 750+ clients.

iCIMS’ success has also been due in large part to the company’s dedication to an unparalleled customer experience. iCIMS has continued to maintain one of the highest customer retention and satisfaction rates in the industry year after year, adding more than 150 new clients so far in 2009. iCIMS clients such as Bayada Nurses, Crunch Fitness, H&R Block and Stein Mart have complimentary access to 24×5 support, free training webinars and a dedicated support team.

“It is truly an honor to be named to Inc.’s list for the fourth consecutive year,” said CEO and President, Colin Day. “iCIMS remains committed to providing a flexible technology backed with industry-leading support to sustain this growth moving forward.”

The Inc. 500 | 5000 Awards Ceremony will be held from September 23-25 in Washington, DC. Those interested in attending can register at http://www.inc500conference.com/.

iCIMS Announces Record Breaking 1st Quarter With More Than 50 New Customer Signings…from iCIMS

April 10, 2009

Software-as-a-Service Provider Secures Position as One of the Top Three Providers of Talent Acquisition Solutions and Narrows the Gap Between Industry Runner-Up Kenexa

HRchitect featured iCIMS in our May 2008 release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider. iCIMS competed in the HRchitect Beauty Pageant on Talent Acquisition Systems in November 2008 and mid-market Talent Acquisition Systems in January 2009, where they were crowned the winner of each. Representatives from iCIMS also participated in the HRchitect WebMingle in December 2008.

iCIMS, the third-largest provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition solutions, announced today record breaking first quarter numbers with more than 50 new customer signings, adding such organizations as H&R Block (NYSE: HRB), QinetiQ North America, Universal Protection Services, Spectrum Healthcare Resources, Feed the Children and NATCO (NYSE:NTG) to the company’s rapidly growing client base.

This first quarter of 2009 proved to be a trying time for many talent acquisition solution vendors; however, while competitors remained stagnant and were even forced to layoff, iCIMS rose to the occasion reflecting the viability of both the software offerings and the company. To date, iCIMS has grown at an unprecedented rate and projects record breaking numbers for the remainder of 2009. iCIMS is currently recognized as one of the top three providers of talent acquisition solutions behind Taleo (NASDAQ: TLEO) and Kenexa (NASDAQ: KNXA) and the leading private provider in the industry. Kicking off the fiscal year with this degree of first quarter momentum puts iCIMS on track to rapidly narrow its gap behind industry runner-up Kenexa.

iCIMS’ Talent Platform has differentiated itself from competing vendors this past quarter and ascended as an industry leader; this expedited rise to the top largely attributed to the Talent Platform’s cost-effectiveness, overall flexibility and award-winning customer support. In today’s economic market organizations are seeking to invest in highly configurable software that is powerful enough to meet their talent management needs today, yet flexible enough to expand and meet their evolving organizational needs in the future, and because of this iCIMS’ Talent Platform has stood out above the rest. Furthermore, as the highly configurable Talent Platform became Mac and multi-browser compatible in Q1, clients were afforded even greater flexibility with iCIMS’ software offerings. Additionally, as opposed to other talent management systems requiring costly modules, add-ons, and data integrations, the iCIMS Talent Platform operates on one single-source solution. This one-stop Talent Management solution eliminates the mounting expenses associated with maintaining and training users on multiple systems, providing a cost-effective option for customers.

The new client additions join more than 700 worldwide organizations who currently power their talent management initiatives using the iCIMS Talent Platform. Thus far, 2009 has shown an increasing number of small and mid-sized organizations turning to iCIMS’ Talent Platform as a full Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to manage their pre- and post-hire Talent Management programs. This one-stop solution allows SMB clients to use iCIMS as their HRIS system of reference while taking advantage of such pre and post-hire tools as onboarding, performance management, employee management, surveys, referral programs and more. Additionally, the company continues to see strength as a replacement Applicant Tracking System at the enterprise level. Many of iCIMS’ clients, such as H&R Block, SWS Group (NYSE:SWS), 2Wire and more, have migrated from starter systems to the Talent Platform. These companies rely on iCIMS’ unified platform to streamline their hiring management programs and to provide the collaborative tools necessary to succeed in today’s business environment.

“As a company, we take great pride in announcing our numbers for this first fiscal quarter.” said Colin Day, President and CEO of iCIMS. “These numbers truly reflect the strength and longevity of iCIMS’ Talent Platform. With more than 50 new customers in Q1, and now over 700 clients on the Talent Platform, iCIMS is on track to not only maintain, but surpass, our position as the third largest provider of talent acquisition solutions in the industry.”

iCIMS and Valiant Partner to Expand Human Capital and Workforce Management Offerings — Technology Platforms Integrate in Best-of-Breed Alliance.

HRchitect featured iCIMS our May 2008 release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider. iCIMS was featured on an HRchitect WebMingle in December 2008 and competed in both the Talent Acquisition Systems Beauty Pageant in November and the mid-market Talent Acquisition Systems Beauty Pageant in January 2009, where they were crowned the winner of each.
