HRsmart, winner of the HR Technology Conference vendor shootout and the only HR software company with a fully unified Talent Management Suite, announces the release of Talent Management Enterprise Version 11.3.

Our clients keep challenging us to find ways to identify and retain top quality talent. We responded with several enhancements including user-friendly analytics, social networking and employee development tools. We made these new enhancements easy to use by improving the dashboard experience.

Expansion of our social networking tools enables clients to leverage LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other similar social networking sites as recruiting tools within the solution.

Early client reviews have picked the 9-Box Matrix as the most important and progressive addition. Users can now filter attrition analytics, and avoid the risk of losing additional key personnel, because they are more visible and manageable.

“With over 1300 client implementations in over 30 countries, real-time intelligence gathering and the agility to develop solutions in response to what is learned, is what characterizes thriving organizations”, said Hanny Shehadeh, Chief Product Officer at HRsmart. “With a direct line into product management, our clients continue to consistently drive our product enhancements.”

Below are some of the highlights of the new release.

Highlights of Version 11.3

The newest version enables companies to quickly identify and rank the best fit candidates for a position through dynamic user-defined criteria. Now, reports such as Quality of Applicants and Quality of Hires enable data-driven qualitative and quantitative sourcing decisions. New dashboard widgets enable managers to quickly identify competency gaps and create development plans with minimal effort. System-suggested context-sensitive resources are presented to the manager to pick from. Vice presidents of HR will particularly like the incredible attrition analytics included in the Career Development and Succession planning module. The new analytics tool was designed with a particular focus on the HR generalist and line manager user experience. DBAs will appreciate the built-in flexibility to quickly drill down to data sources, create filters & charts, and retrieve any data element from all modules.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Unified Architecture (HUA) platform include:

Analytics:
Starting with five new, built-in reports, all standard reports are being converted to a newly designed reporting engine which enables clients to run, filter, edit, copy, share, chart, and export results. All tables, charts, & graphs, are drill-down capable.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Applicant Tracking Module include:

New Dashboard Widgets:
Introduction of additional real-time dashboard reports to improve recruiting activities: Recent Requisitions, My New Resume Submissions, My Candidates, and a Mini-Calendar.

Monster Resume Search Enhancements:
The search form now includes the ability to enter OFCCP reference details, search by board (Monster.com or Monster & Diversity), and language skills. Results can be sorted by location, date, or keyword. The result screen and mini-view have been enhanced to include highlighting, improved job seeker type identification, and filters. Users can add candidates to requisitions, send printable batches, and route resumes. Search Agents can now include Monster-specific searches.

Social Network Profiles:
Users are now able to search for job seekers on various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, Blogger, and Google) and then save the links in the job seekers’ profiles within the Resume Dashboard.

Global Diversity Reporting:
New reports have been created to enable required diversity data reporting by country.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Employee Performance Management Module include:

New Dashboard Widget:
A new dashboard widget enables managers to track the progress of their employees’ performance goals. Managers can quickly identify whether an employee’s goals are on target, past due, or have not been set.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Career Development & Succession Planning Module include:

Attrition Analytics Displayed on 9-Box Matrix:
The 9-Box Matrix already displays the potential and performance of employees by organizational unit, management hierarchy, location, and job family. A user can now choose to display attrition analytics utilizing the same filters. Whether voluntary or involuntary, this innovation offers unprecedented insight into the caliber of the talent lost through attrition.

Create Development Plans for a Successor or a Pool of Talent:
Succession plan collaborators can now create development plans for one successor and easily copy it to other individuals or an entire Pool. Development Plan owners can track the successors’ progress and completion.

Auto-Suggestion of Development Plan Resources:
Upon choosing a desired competency or skill to focus on, the system automatically suggests context-sensitive courses, library resources, and mentors the manager can select from to complete the development plan.

New Gap Analysis U/I:
The gap analysis U/I is now graphical and tabular. This allows the user to easily and quickly determine where the gaps in competencies and skills are. The graph displays competencies and skills required of the job compared to those attained by the employee. The gap analysis display also reports other skills and competencies the employee has attained even if they are not required by the selected job.

New Domino List U/I:
The new user interface has been enhanced to resemble the structure of an organizational chart allowing users to more easily identify where gaps in succession planning may exist, with the ability to drill-down through the entire list.

Saba, Peopleclick Authoria, HRsmart and Technomedia to Contend in HR Technology Conference’s Annual Shootout

September 3, 2010

Signature Event Helps Attendees Evaluate Vendors, Get Answers to Their Toughest Questions

If you are looking for a new Talent Acquisition System, Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. We have unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation. Simply put, do not invest in any kind of HR technology without consulting with the experts first. HRchitect is here to help!

Conference organizers for the 13th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition today announced the four vendors that will vie for the top slot at the conference’s signature event: The Shootout. Designed to help attendees evaluate software by seeing custom demonstrations based on tough, scripted scenarios, this year’s roster consists of Saba, Peopleclick Authoria, HRsmart and Technomedia.

Produced by Human Resource Executive Conferences, the 13th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from September 29 – October 1, 2010.

This year’s Shootout consists of two breakout sessions in which the contestants have been paired based on their similar choices of three out of five Talent Management scenarios, written by industry expert Mark Albrecht and Conference Co-chair Bill Kutik.

Each vendor will conduct an uninterrupted 25-minute demonstration showing how their software can solve the specific problems in the script, and later answer questions from the audience. Voting will be based on four absolute criteria for software — such as usability and integration — rather than on presentation skills and less objective criteria.

Conference co-chair and Technology Columnist for Human Resource Executive magazine, Bill Kutik, emphasized, “Vendors in The Shootout are not permitted to demonstrate whatever they want — they must stick to our tough, scripted scenarios so attendees can evaluate them against the same criteria. And we never sell speaking or demonstration slots to vendors — participation is only earned by meeting our stringent requirements.”

Kutik will judge session one on Wednesday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. with HRsmart and Peopleclick Authoria. Session two, featuring Saba and Technomedia, will be held the same day at 3:15 p.m. Rochester Institute of Technology instructor of HR technology, Steve Boese, will judge that session.

All four of these Talent Management vendors will also be featured in Bersin & Associates’ Customer Satisfaction survey, which is debuting at the HR Technology Conference.

The conference’s early bird registration rate expires on September 10th; attendees registering prior to this date save $350. Prospective attendees are encouraged to visit www.hrtechnologyconference.com for details.

About the HR Technology Conference Now in its 13th year, the HR Technology Conference & Exposition is acknowledged as the industry’s leading event. The complete agenda for this year’s conference can be found at www.HRTechnologyConference.com and discussions are available at the conference’s popular LinkedIn group. Hodes iQ Wins HRchitect’s Beauty Pageant for Talent Acquisition Systems…from Hodes iQ

September 18, 2009

HRchitect includes Hodes iQ in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider. Hodes iQ competed in the HRchitect Beauty Pageant on Talent Acquisition Systems in August 2009, where they were crowned the winner. Jeremy Shapiro, Senior VP with Hodes iQ appeared on the HRchitect WebMingle on September 18, 2009. If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. We have unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation.

Hodes iQ, Bernard Hodes Group’s award‐winning talent acquisition and management product, recently announced that they have been named the new Talent Acquisition Systems HRchitect Beauty Pageant contest winner.

HRchitect, a leader in HR systems strategic consulting and a premier Human Capital Management (HCM) and Talent Management systems consulting firm, has been orchestrating and hosting the beauty pageant style competition since 2008 on a variety of topics related to the HCM industry. Each pageant features the top vendors in their respective category and contestants are asked to showcase their company along with their unique product features and value proposition in the marketplace to audience members. The concept allows attendees to see presentations in a fun and informative format where the audience votes on the winner at the conclusion of the webinar.

“Hodes iQ did a fantastic job in their first HRchitect Beauty Pageant appearance,” said Matt Lafata, vice president of sales and marketing for HRchitect and the host of the Beauty Pageants. “Their usage of pageant imagery in their presentation, coupled with the fact that they highlighted their own clients as part of that imagery, made for a very entertaining and informative presentation about their company and product offering.”

The competition took place on Friday, August 21 and Hodes iQ was crowned the new winner against such companies as SilkRoad, HRsmart, Taleo and iCIMS. The Talent Acquisition Systems pageant had record participation according to HRchitect, the largest in the pageant’s history.

“We are very excited to have been recognized as the winner for presenting the best solution for talent acquisition systems,” said Jeremy Shapiro , senior vice president, Hodes iQ. “It’s our first time participating so we are extremely honored to have won against some solid players in the market.”

The pageant format allows registered attendees to review and analyze competing products in a neutral landscape, allowing each vendor to highlight their unique product features and how they differentiate themselves from their competitors. With today’s economical challenges, it’s important for HR professionals to clearly measure products in an apples‐to‐apples comparison and to make business driven decisions on what they feel would best fit their organization’s needs now and in the future.

HRchitect “Beauty Pageants” For Top Vendors in the HR Technology Arena Returns with a Full Schedule for Remainder of 2009

August 19, 2009

HRchitect, the leader in HR systems strategic consulting and the premier Human Capital Management (HCM) and Talent Management systems consulting firm, announced the return of the wildly popular and groundbreaking webinar series entitled, “Assessing the Talent Management and HR Systems Landscape, an HRchitect Beauty Pageant.”

HRchitect conducted ten successful Beauty Pageants from November 2008 through May of 2009 and took a short hiatus for the summer months. The events will return on August 21, 2009 with Talent Acquisition Systems followed by Talent Management Systems on September 4, 2009. Best of all, these are free to the HR community and any other interested parties.

Each ‘Beauty Pageant’ focuses on a different category of HR technology such as Talent Management Systems, Talent Acquisition Systems, and HR/Payroll Systems and will feature up to six contestants.  The contestants are all top vendors in each specific category.

The Talent Acquisition Systems Pageant is up first and will feature Hodes IQ, HRsmart, iCIMS (last year’s winner), SilkRoad, and Taleo. Talent Management Systems follows and at press time the confirmed vendor contestants are Jobpartners, Saba, Salary.com, and SumTotal Systems.

“The world of HR technology continues to puzzle many people,” commented Matt Lafata, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing for HRchitect and the host of the Beauty Pageants, “and what better way to try and help solve that than through a fun and informative beauty pageant? Our continuous mission is to educate the public about HR technology options and we feel that these short, 8-10 minute presentations from multiple vendors, is a great way to do it AND keep people’s attention. The feedback we have received from these Beauty Pageants is absolutely tremendous and we are looking forward to producing many more of these events.”

HRchitect developed a format to help guide each vendor with an outline of what should be covered during each portion of the pageant.  HRchitect came up with pageant categories and a guideline for vendors to loosely follow but of course leaves it up to each vendor to follow their own format:

Evening gown – To start off each portion, we are asking the vendor to come out in their best ‘outfit’ – corporate overview, history, specific identity, financial viability, marquee clients, leadership team, etc. This will be the grand entrance.

Swimsuit – Here the vendors will show some skin in this portion – usability, configurability, etc.

Talent – This portion will cover functionality, technology/integration, global ability, etc.

Interview – This will be the Q & A section from the audience.

At the end of each Beauty Pageant, the audience votes to determine who walks away with the crown and industry bragging rights.

“These beauty pageants are designed to give the audience a quick overview of the leading vendors and showcase their uniqueness and creativity,” added Tiffany Appleby, Director of Marketing for HRchitect and Production Manager for the Beauty Pageants. “Past participants have gotten extremely creative in their presentations and we thank them for their time and efforts in doing this. We truly believe this is a really great opportunity for anyone who is looking at purchasing any kind of HR technology solution to be able to learn more about several of the top systems in each category in a fun and informative format.”

HRsmart Releases Version 11.0 of its Talent Management Suite Providing Users with Unparalleled Usability and Configurability…from HRsmart

June 26, 2009

HRchitect featured HRsmart in our 2008 release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems and top Talent Management Systems vendors that businesses should consider. HRsmart participated in the Talent Management Systems and Talent Acquisition Systems panel on June 10, 2009 as part of theHRshow. If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. We have unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation.

HRsmart, the only HR software company with a fully integrated Talent Management Suite, today released Version 11.0, setting a new standard in the industry for usability and configurability.

“This exciting new version of our Talent Management Suite is by far the most unified, scalable, configurable and usable platform on the market today,” said Hanny Shehadeh, chief products officer at HRsmart. “We tore down every wall plaguing traditional standalone modules greatly enhancing usability and enabling users, regardless of organizational role, unprecedented collaboration.”

Key features and enhancements to HRsmart’s Unified Architecture (HUA) platform include:

  • Scalability.  HRsmart introduced four new tiers all of which are built on the same platform and can be configured to meet the needs of organizations ranging from 100 to well over 100,000 employees. HRsmart’s Talent Management Suite can be deployed in its entirety or on a modular basis.
  • Brand New Navigation System. This release introduces a new navigation menu designed to allow any user to land on any screen within the entire suite in two clicks. Dubbed “Two Clicks to Anywhere”, the newly designed menu system redefines usability enabling users to truly approach daily talent management tasks logically and holistically. Logical and historical breadcrumbs further provide single click access to the most frequently used functions within the Suite.
  • Built-in Single Sign On and User-Defined Links. Because the entire suite is designed in-house on a single platform, the user need only remember a single log-in. Furthermore, User-Defined links grant them access to other systems within the organization.
  • Consolidated Notification System. In a move to truly demonstrate the power of a fully-integrated platform, users enjoy a single calendar that keeps track of all their scheduled events and reminders regardless whether they are related to recruiting, performance management, career development, learning management, succession planning or compensation. Notifications and alerts from the entire suite are consolidated in a single icon enabling users to tend to all pending requests with a single click. All notifications sent via email are stored through this function allowing the user to recover from any mishap.
  • Features Management. Hundreds of system functions are “feature-wrapped” allowing system administrators to configure and throttle the roll-out of functionality to the organization based on their readiness for change. Drag-and-Drop functionality transforms traditionally intimidating Dashboards and mundane switches into fun tasks. Features are logically grouped to allow for quick configuration and instantaneous activation. This is one of the most powerful enhancements in the release and must be seen to gain an appreciation for the granularity of the configuration capability.
  • Direct Feedback to Product Management. Eliminating all barriers for direct client feedback, every user, on any screen within the Suite, can now communicate directly with HRsmart’s Product Management team. The system automatically logs the current screen and user information allowing them to effortlessly suggest their enhancement request.

HRsmart, a leading global provider of integrated Talent Management software, and RiseSmart, a provider of Web-enabled job search and outplacement services, today announced an agreement under which HRsmart will resell RiseSmart’s Transition Concierge corporate outplacement services through HRsmart’s U.S. sales channels.

RiseSmart Transition Concierge provides high-touch, results-oriented outplacement services at a fraction of the cost of traditional firms. Industry observers have hailed RiseSmart’s “Outplacement 2.0″ approach as a disruptive innovation in a marketplace that has been paying too much for transition management services for too long.

“HRsmart prides itself in delivering talent management solutions that are not only technologically superior, but also meet the need of the hour while remaining cost-effective,” said Hanny Shehadeh, chief product officer of HRsmart. “RiseSmart has found an ingenious way to apply technology to dramatically reduce the cost of corporate outplacement – while granting departing employees a more effective action plan. We are delighted to offer the RiseSmart Transition Concierge services to our more than 650 corporate customers, including some of the largest companies in the world.”

“HRsmart is a leader in technology that helps companies manage all of their human capital, from candidate sourcing to employee development and, when the time comes, employee departures,” said Sanjay Sathe, founder and CEO of RiseSmart. “We’re honored that HRsmart has chosen to market RiseSmart Transition Concierge to its established and loyal customer base.”

RiseSmart Transition Concierge provides transitioned employees the services they need most during today’s challenging economy: help with marketing themselves through a rewrite of their resumes and cover letters; guidance from a transition specialist, including assistance in using online social networks; and — most importantly — actionable job leads from across the Web based on their specific criteria, for a period of up to six months.

To identify these job leads, a dedicated RiseSmart HR professional is assigned to each transitioned employee. Utilizing state-of-the-art search technology, the HR professional searches more than one million job listings across the Web, returning only the listings that best match the employee’s specific criteria. RiseSmart then listens to employee feedback to continually enhance the results it delivers to each transitioned worker.

BusinessWeek has touted the RiseSmart business model as making “a lot of sense,” and the San Jose Mercury News says, “RiseSmart typifies the valley’s knack for using technology to disrupt standard business practices.” HR executives from Fortune 500 companies like ACS and Tenet Healthcare have also praised RiseSmart Transition Concierge.
