Recruiters can spend countless hours scouring the Internet to find potential candidates for open positions. nowHIRE.com announced TalentSweep, a resume sourcing technology that enables recruiters to quickly locate quality candidates and reduce time-to-hire.
TalentSweep is available as a stand-alone product or can be integrated into the nowHIRE applicant tracking system. TalentSweep automates the recruiting process through a Web-based interface that allows recruiters to input a job description, select the search criteria and schedule searches for a pre-determined time. The technology scours the Internet, including social networking sites, free job boards and paid job boards subscriptions, as well as the existing candidates in a company’s database.
Resumes are scored and ranked against the job description provided using a sophisticated two-tier matching technology for high-quality resume-matching. Unlike other sourcing tools, TalentSweep doesn’t just verify the match between skills and experiences in the resume and those specified in the job description. The technology also uses powerful statistical models to predict how likely a job is to fit the candidate’s career path. The results are then directly imported into the nowHIRE applicant tracking system, where recruiters can review the results and take the necessary actions. TalentSweep also includes a reporting capability that compares the Web sites searched to the results received and provides an overview of the best Internet sources for a given position.
