LinkedIn “Apply Now” Integration Added to SmartSearch® Applicant Tracking System…by SmartSearch

September 21, 2011

Leading talent acquisition & recruiting business software makes it easier for candidates to apply for job postings with new LinkedIn feature

HRchitect includes SmartSearch in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider. Doug Coull, President & CEO, and LJ Morris, CTO with SmartSearch appeared on the HRchitect WebMingle on March 6, 2009. If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, don’t rely solely on “recommendations” or published reports. Do yourself a huge favor and talk to HRchitect first. After 14 years, HRchitect has unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation. Simply put, do not invest in any kind of HR technology without consulting with the experts first. HRchitect is always available to help!

Advanced Personnel Systems, Inc. (APS), makers of the SmartSearch® applicant tracking system (ATS), announced the addition a new “Apply with LinkedIn” integration. An “Apply with LinkedIn” button can be included on job postings which enables candidates to select this option — instead of submitting a resume when applying for a position — and export their LinkedIn profile directly into the SmartSearch® ATS database. This portable feature works on any job posted on any site or job board and offers candidates the added advantage of updating their LinkedIn profile before applying, and shows them if anyone in their LinkedIn network is working at the company with the job opening. Any candidate who clicks the “Apply with LinkedIn” button that does not have a profile is given an opportunity to create one.

Similar to the “shared apply” function that SmartSearch offers with integration to major job boards including Monster and CareerBuilder, the “Apply with LinkedIn” feature is available to all SmartSearch users at no additional cost, with a choice of modes: AutoApply or PartialApply. The AutoApply mode automatically pulls in the candidate’s LinkedIn profile and allows them to bypass any online employment application or additional screening questions that may be posted. The PartialApply mode pulls in the candidate’s LinkedIn profile, but the applicant will still need to complete any missing data on the employment application or required screening questions.

“LinkedIn has become a top resource for recruiting professionals,” said Doug Coull, CEO at APS, “For many, it has become the site of choice for sourcing, research, business networking, and relationship building. Integration to LinkedIn in any aspect of our candidate management process is a hot-list item for our engineering team.”

In 2010, SmartSearch added the ability for users to post jobs to their LinkedIn profile status update with a link to their company web site and share that across LinkedIn Groups or send directly to selected contacts in their LinkedIn network. Other SmartSearch® LinkedIn integrations include research features such as the Company Insider that identifies people at a specified company, with a count of how many are already connected to the user’s LinkedIn account. In addition, SmartSearch® customers have the option of capturing applicant’s LinkedIn profile URL when they apply for jobs posted on their career sites. For LinkedIn “power users,” the system can be configured so that when users open a candidate or contact record, it automatically searches the LinkedIn community to see if a matching record can be found, and then updates the corresponding SmartSearch® record by adding the LinkedIn profile URL. Users have the option to manually initiate a search based on name, location, or company with a single click. SmartSearch® also supports paid job postings on LinkedIn. The new “Apply with LinkedIn” builds on these popular features by making it much easier for candidates to apply for jobs.

“SmartSearch® has always provided a full suite of relationship management tools to support social network sourcing with advanced XML feeds,” said LJ Morris, CTO of APS, “SmartSearch was one of the first ATS to enable users to access personal profiles and see related records posted on business and social networking communities such as LinkedIn.”

SmartSearch® is best known for the ability to seamlessly integrate with existing systems and applications for managing all employment-related information from one easy to use interface.

HRsmart Releases Version 11.3 of its Unified Enterprise Talent Management Suite…from HRsmart

November 21, 2010

Driven by the desire to provide its clients with the best solutions and the latest in HR compliance technology

HRchitect featured HRsmart in our release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems and top Talent Management Systems vendors that businesses should consider. If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. HRchitect has unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation. Simply put, do not invest in any kind of HR technology without consulting with the experts first. HRchitect is always available to help!

HRsmart, winner of the HR Technology Conference vendor shootout and the only HR software company with a fully unified Talent Management Suite, announces the release of Talent Management Enterprise Version 11.3.

Our clients keep challenging us to find ways to identify and retain top quality talent. We responded with several enhancements including user-friendly analytics, social networking and employee development tools. We made these new enhancements easy to use by improving the dashboard experience.

Expansion of our social networking tools enables clients to leverage LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other similar social networking sites as recruiting tools within the solution.

Early client reviews have picked the 9-Box Matrix as the most important and progressive addition. Users can now filter attrition analytics, and avoid the risk of losing additional key personnel, because they are more visible and manageable.

“With over 1300 client implementations in over 30 countries, real-time intelligence gathering and the agility to develop solutions in response to what is learned, is what characterizes thriving organizations”, said Hanny Shehadeh, Chief Product Officer at HRsmart. “With a direct line into product management, our clients continue to consistently drive our product enhancements.”

Below are some of the highlights of the new release.

Highlights of Version 11.3

The newest version enables companies to quickly identify and rank the best fit candidates for a position through dynamic user-defined criteria. Now, reports such as Quality of Applicants and Quality of Hires enable data-driven qualitative and quantitative sourcing decisions. New dashboard widgets enable managers to quickly identify competency gaps and create development plans with minimal effort. System-suggested context-sensitive resources are presented to the manager to pick from. Vice presidents of HR will particularly like the incredible attrition analytics included in the Career Development and Succession planning module. The new analytics tool was designed with a particular focus on the HR generalist and line manager user experience. DBAs will appreciate the built-in flexibility to quickly drill down to data sources, create filters & charts, and retrieve any data element from all modules.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Unified Architecture (HUA) platform include:

Analytics:
Starting with five new, built-in reports, all standard reports are being converted to a newly designed reporting engine which enables clients to run, filter, edit, copy, share, chart, and export results. All tables, charts, & graphs, are drill-down capable.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Applicant Tracking Module include:

New Dashboard Widgets:
Introduction of additional real-time dashboard reports to improve recruiting activities: Recent Requisitions, My New Resume Submissions, My Candidates, and a Mini-Calendar.

Monster Resume Search Enhancements:
The search form now includes the ability to enter OFCCP reference details, search by board (Monster.com or Monster & Diversity), and language skills. Results can be sorted by location, date, or keyword. The result screen and mini-view have been enhanced to include highlighting, improved job seeker type identification, and filters. Users can add candidates to requisitions, send printable batches, and route resumes. Search Agents can now include Monster-specific searches.

Social Network Profiles:
Users are now able to search for job seekers on various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, Blogger, and Google) and then save the links in the job seekers’ profiles within the Resume Dashboard.

Global Diversity Reporting:
New reports have been created to enable required diversity data reporting by country.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Employee Performance Management Module include:

New Dashboard Widget:
A new dashboard widget enables managers to track the progress of their employees’ performance goals. Managers can quickly identify whether an employee’s goals are on target, past due, or have not been set.

Highlights of the new enhancements to HRsmart’s Career Development & Succession Planning Module include:

Attrition Analytics Displayed on 9-Box Matrix:
The 9-Box Matrix already displays the potential and performance of employees by organizational unit, management hierarchy, location, and job family. A user can now choose to display attrition analytics utilizing the same filters. Whether voluntary or involuntary, this innovation offers unprecedented insight into the caliber of the talent lost through attrition.

Create Development Plans for a Successor or a Pool of Talent:
Succession plan collaborators can now create development plans for one successor and easily copy it to other individuals or an entire Pool. Development Plan owners can track the successors’ progress and completion.

Auto-Suggestion of Development Plan Resources:
Upon choosing a desired competency or skill to focus on, the system automatically suggests context-sensitive courses, library resources, and mentors the manager can select from to complete the development plan.

New Gap Analysis U/I:
The gap analysis U/I is now graphical and tabular. This allows the user to easily and quickly determine where the gaps in competencies and skills are. The graph displays competencies and skills required of the job compared to those attained by the employee. The gap analysis display also reports other skills and competencies the employee has attained even if they are not required by the selected job.

New Domino List U/I:
The new user interface has been enhanced to resemble the structure of an organizational chart allowing users to more easily identify where gaps in succession planning may exist, with the ability to drill-down through the entire list.

SilkRoad technology Announces Q3 Results for 2009…from SilkRoad

October 17, 2009

Success driven by new product and continued adoption of Life Suite

HRchitect featured SilkRoad in our May 2008 release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider. SilkRoad participated in the Onboarding Systems panel on June 10, 2009 as part of theHRshow. SilkRoad competed in the HRchitect Beauty Pageant on Onboarding Systems in January 2009 where they were crowned the winner. Brian Platz, EVP and COO of SilkRoad also appeared on the HRchitect WebMingle on March 20, 2009. If you are looking for a new Talent Management System, or any HR system, talk to HRchitect first. We have unparalleled knowledge of the HR and Talent Management vendor community and can save you time and money in selection and implementation.

SilkRoad technology, inc., a leading provider of talent management solutions, announced today that the third quarter of 2009 marked the 25th consecutive period of sales growth for the company. Highlights from the quarter include SilkRoad’s new core HR system, HeartBeat; the industry’s first talent management assessment tool; an expanded alliance with top employment site Monster; and continued widespread adoption of the company’s Life Suite solutions.

SilkRoad had a record Q3 with its dominant recruitment management and retention strategy solutions, OpenHire and RedCarpet, driving more effective talent acquisition through the use of social networks and strategic talent brand management. Healthfirst, US Oncology, Inc., and Wake Forest University all purchased both OpenHire, for recruiting management and RedCarpet, for employee onboarding and life events. Other clients purchasing the Life Suite included: Life Style Family Fitness, Pratt Institute, USAble Life, CentralCare, Cook Children’s Health Care System, Renal Ventures Management, LLC, SIRVA, and Summa Health System.

“This has been another very exciting quarter for SilkRoad with a sizeable number of clients opting to purchase multiple Life Suite products,” said Andrew J. “Flip” Filipowski, Executive Chairman and CEO of SilkRoad technology.  “With the addition of our new product HeartBeat, we have been able to extend what was already an unparalleled package of talent management and HR solutions.”

“As always, we are very excited about our ongoing partnerships.  This quarter our work with Aberdeen Group generated a groundbreaking talent management assessment tool for the industry and our extended alliance with Monster helps clients get job postings out as quickly as possible.  Both of these initiatives further our perpetual goal: helping every company recruit and retain the best fit talent for their organizations,” continued Filipowski.

At the annual HR Technology Conference in September, SilkRoad announced a new proprietary Software as a Service Core HR solution that will join its award-winning Life Suite.  The new product, HeartBeat, allows secure and reliable access to key HR information for both employees and management by creating a “system of record” to store all employees’ core data.

With HeartBeat, both workers and managers have access to and can act on HR information relevant to them.  The core HR system also allows for easy creation of analytics and reporting, from complete organizational charts and headcount reports to specific business unit and work analytics, offering insight and strategic value in managing enterprise human capital.

This quarter SilkRoad also announced the availability of the first interactive talent management assessment tool designed specifically for the Human Resources industry. SilkRoad’s talent management benchmark tool, which is free to users, allows organizations to compare their performance against companies from around the world.  The benchmark tool was created in partnership with Aberdeen Group and will help companies identify areas for improvement across their talent management portfolios. In order to compile the data used in this tool, Aberdeen collected and analyzed data, including over 640,000 data points, from more than three thousand organizations around the world.

At the end of September, SilkRoad received a top ranking in the 2009 Aberdeen AXIS report for Talent Acquisition Systems. The AXIS report provides a Best-in-Class performance evaluation, and assessment of each vendor’s market readiness as determined by over 250 evaluation criteria. “We are extremely proud to not only be included in this report, but to be a clear market leader for Applicant Tracking and Talent Acquisitions,” said Brian Platz, SilkRoad COO.

SilkRoad also extended its alliance with Monster, the leading global online careers and recruitment resource, to provide real-time posting tools into the OpenHire recruiting management solution. These newly available tools will enable SilkRoad technology customers to seamlessly post their open positions and manage applicant data. With the real-time posting feature, customers can post jobs from OpenHire to Monster in real-time, making job postings available to jobseekers sooner than ever before. Additionally, SilkRoad has been able to take advantage of some of Monster’s advanced integration components, allowing organizations to view available inventory in real-time without ever leaving OpenHire.

Last but certainly not least, SilkRoad was honored by The Business Journal in September as the number 12 fastest growing company in the Triad area.  The Business Journal counted down the region’s fastest growing privately held companies at an event that annually honors the successes of private businesses and their owners – as well as the growth and contribution of the 50 most dynamic companies that have strong impact on the Triad’s economic success.

Pointwing 1.4 Recruiting Software Adds Job Board Publishing and Resume Sourcing…from Pointwing

February 8, 2009

Pointwing 1.4 Recruiting Software Adds Job Board Publishing and Resume Sourcing to Speed Recruiting Processes — New release of Pointwing recruiting software accelerates recruiting by adding integrations for the easy posting of jobs to multiple job boards and Internet resume sourcing.

Recruiting and staffing companies are faced with increased challenges in today’s troubled economy. To find and place the “just right” candidate with their customers among the many that may be available requires that they re-double their focus on speed, efficiency and accuracy. VCG offers recruiting and staffing firms exciting new integrated tools that enable that success with version 1.4 of their Pointwing Front Office recruiting software.

Pointwing Job Publisher gives you the ability to quickly and easily post your jobs from within Pointwing to multiple free and premium job boards such as Career Builder, Monster or Dice. This is done through Pointwing’s integration with Data Frenzy, a leading provider of job board aggregation. Resumes submitted by candidates in response to your job postings are directly available in Pointwing for parsing, search and match. Your job postings and their management are handled within your Pointwing recruiting software to simplify your recruiting process and enable you to monitor job board performance and ROI.

Pointwing Resume Sourcer is also available in Pointwing through its Data Frenzy integration. This gives you the ability to submit custom Web crawler (spider) resume searches across multiple sites. All matching resumes from all sources are then retrieved, analyzed by a contextual search algorithm, ranked in order of relevance to your search criteria, and displayed in order of relevance. These searches help you quickly find those elusive passive candidates who may not respond to your job postings. From the results of these searches you can then determine which candidate resumes you wish to parse and upload into Pointwing for follow up.

Steve Taylor, President and CEO of VCG, said, “The integration of Pointwing Job Publisher and Pointwing Resume Sourcer are further evidence of the growth of Pointwing as a comprehensive recruiting and staffing tool for success. The Internet gives recruiters and staffing company’s broad access to an ocean of data. What we’ve done is enable them to leverage that access and use it or filter the data to their ends. That reduces the time and effort that recruiters have to spend finding qualified candidates and ultimately means a faster, more successful and profitable placement.”

TELUS Sourcing Solutions, Monster Canada and HRsmart Canada Form Alliance to Deliver Recruitment Management Solutions…from HRsmart

December 10, 2008

HRchitect featured HRsmart in our May 2008 release of The Suite Life of Integrated Talent Management and also includes them in our list of top Talent Acquisition Systems vendors that businesses should consider.

HRsmart, Monster and TELUS Sourcing Solutions (TSSI) recently announced the formation of a three-way alliance to provide state of the art recruitment management tools to Canadian organizations.

Since being founded by TELUS in 2003, TSSI, has become one of Canada’s largest and most successful human resources outsourcing firms with a focus on public sector services. TSSI currently serves more than 130,000 employees in Canada, processing over $5.3 billion of payroll every year. Partnering with HRsmart and Monster will allow TSSI to expand the services it offers existing clients, and to attract new ones. The ability to deliver the full recruitment management application suite through the partnership with HRsmart and Monster enables TSSI to build upon existing relationships and to attract new clients.

HRsmart and Monster Canada signed an alliance earlier this year, drawing upon Monster’s national reach to create new markets for HRsmart’s recruitment management applications. The Canadian alliance builds on a similar alliance between HRsmart and Monster’s U.S. division that has already experienced significant success. The Canadian alliance served to strengthen the relationship and allows Monster Canada exclusive rights for distributing the solutions in Canada. Adding TSSI to the Canadian alliance has allowed implementation of the proven HRsmart/Monster tools with existing TSSI clients, while expanding the value all three companies can bring to other Canadian organizations.

Human Capital Source Releases HCM:21®, a Disruptive Human Resource Technology…from Human Capital Source

November 17, 2008

Dr. Jac Fitz-enz and the Predictive Initiative Group introduce a new management tool, giving companies the ability to manage the future today.

Human Capital Source (www.HumanCapitalSource.com) unveiled the first integrative, predictive strategic human capital management system, HCM:21. This was developed over 18 months with 20 organizations including Target Stores, Oracle, Accenture, Monster, Blue Shield, Ceridian, SuccessFactors and Scarlett Surveys.

With this new model for strategic management, organizations can more effectively manage talent and technology investments.  HCM:21 supports a broad range of business objectives as well as specific solutions around hiring, engaging and developing talent.  The model identifies mission critical organizational issues and describes how they align, are interdependent and can be integrated to manage tomorrow’s human capital assets today.

Organizations typically begin with workforce planning, matching business plan staffing requirements with labor pools and practicing gap analysis. This is woefully inadequate since the marketplace is constantly changing.

From the credit crunch and the disillusion of Wall Street to the major demographic shifts in the workforce, companies must adapt to manage the unknowns ahead.

October 29, 2008

eQuest, a provider of job posting and Internet recruitment management services, announced that it has extended and expanded its strategic partnership with Taleo, a provider of on-demand talent management solutions.

The new multi-year agreement grants Taleo customers broader job posting services and support including 24/7 global support, online training, formation of an eQuest-Taleo user group and free, unlimited delivery access to CareerBuilder, HotJobs, Workopolis, SEEK and Monster.

The agreement also expands eQuest Interactive Media services to Taleo customers, allowing companies to tap into eQuest’s metrics and analytical tools. eQuest is one of the fastest growing interactive recruitment media companies worldwide, signing more than 70 new customers since early 2007.
